He lead a full life and will be sadly missed.

Never more sad than at this news. Devan is a truly lovely soul. I admired him so very much. Eastleigh is the poorer for loss of Devan.

Devan taught me an important lesson when working with the community - if you support 10 people and only 9 are truly deserving, then you have still helped 9 people who really need it. This was because he really cared and wanted to help those who needed help and he went that extra mile or ensured you did to see that they got the help they should have
